Step 1 : Registration Process
1. Open the official umang official website
2. Click on link " Application form for individual " for individual applicants 3. Enter your 12 digit Aadhaar Card Number and validate it with OTP for your registered mobile number .
4. Fill the details of personal details , including Category and gender.
5. Select the implementing agency in Andhra Pradesh or Telangana based on where your unit is located and complete the registration with your business activity , location address and target branch bank in Ap or Telangana

Step 2 : Uploading Documents
Scan and upload the following required documents directly to the portal:
1. Detailed Project Report (DPR) - Explaining your business models and cost estimation
2. Passport-sized photograph.
3. Caste Certificate (if eligible for special category subsidy).
4. Educational certificate (To confirm qualification on or above 8th standard).
5. Rural Area Certificate - signed by the local Gram Panchayat (if your project is in a rural area).

Step 3 : Verification and Submission
1. Review all fields with careful attention and hit the Submit button , if your are confident with the input fileds as coorect.
2. Then after unique Application ID will be generated and Print a hard copy of your records.. 3. The selected agency (like the local DIC office in your AP or TG district) will verify your documents and forward the application to the respective bank for final loan approval.

1. Which types of businesses are strictly prohibited or not eligible under the PMEGP scheme?
Business like meat processing, slaughter houses, general retail shops, agricultural cultivation projects alcohol and tobacco would not get the loan approval under PMEGP scheme and they are not eligible for it.. But agro-processing industries that add value to raw crops are fully eligible.

2. Is it mandatory to complete EDP training to get the PMEGP loan subsidy?
Yes. Completing Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) training is a mandatory requirement before your subsidy can be officially released by the bank.

3. Can two members of the same family apply for a PMEGP loan separately?
No. Under the official guidelines, only one person per family is eligible to receive financial assistance under the scheme.
